16 Miles by The CoFounder

Had myself a DAY today :) Have some rock n roll with your dinner. This week's #methodmonday is brought to you by the breakdown in 16 Miles by The Co Founder (2:17-2:47).

Pretty straightforward one here. Textbook rock n roll baby: guitars right out the gate and some real lyrics... then some good ol' fashion distortion smash with a lotta real character in it. And then the hesi happens... It's really just one or 2 extra beats in a line of kick tom fills but it's epic, dudes. Gets me every time. It's a real nice sweet spot between different but not jarring. hypes me up somethin’ fierce. Feels like drinking a red bull. Makes me want to run 16 miles, too! Just might...

Got my truck back today from the shop and it was the first thing I popped in. Chuck was happy to hear it again. The Co Founder has a real groovy, grungy, authentic vibe. Los Huevos Banditos take a lot of that to heart. Viva la Groove baby. They play with rhythm a lot on this album. Keeps you guessin and groovin. Basically, Gymnasium is dope. They recorded it with the dudes et al. at Slang Church. Rock solid throughout. You should go check it out. Got it on cassette and vinyl and it's a real good one in the collection. Had the pleasure of sharing the stage with them once. Good people, man. Hope to see them again when this all blows over. The Method. The Madness. The Process. It’s how The Magic happens.

Keep the Vibe Alive 🙏🌍
